I've just finished reading Affinity, and am most drawn to her lucid writing style. Are there any other fans?

Wow, the CD version of Affinity wasn't even on Amazon yet when you posted this message, Alex, so whoever forked out all that cash to buy it for you from a specialist supplier must have loved you very much. Affinity is indeed an interesting book. For those unfamiliar with it, it's all about a woman who by means of a whole string of lies and deceit gets someone to fall in love with her, then manipulates that person for her own selfish benefit, until she finally drops them like a stone, thereby proving that her love was a worthless sham right from the start.

Good for this woman, fictional as she may be. There are plenty of men who do the very same, and think nothing of it.

Hmmm, I just went searching via the library and such. I though I had read a couple books by her, but nope.

Only Fingersmith; I enjoyed it very much.

Hmmmmm, sounds interesting, but depressing.
